Portrait of an Artist

Nothing compares to working with other creatives, and there’s no better mix of them than at COLORPOP. Colorpop is a content retreat in Salt Lake City for photographers to shoot fun and bold editorial concepts with high production value. Getting to photograph these insane sets and being surrounded by other badass artists with diverse backgrounds and careers was just what I needed to really test my limits and push myself.

This colorful, Picasso-inspired portrait session with Allison McKinney was such a blast, and I loved how a simple idea came alive with the use of color.
